Donna Garner

Donna is beginning her sixth year as an Instructional Coach for NMSU-CORE. Her teaching and coaching background is vast, having taught students in kindergarten through ninth grade, including departmentalized math. Gifted Education has been a highlight of her career. She holds a Level III-A Instructional Leader License: K-8 Elementary, with endorsements in Reading, Math, and Gifted, and Pre-K to 12 Specialty Area Math with an endorsement in Gifted. She received her MA from UNM in Multicultural Teacher Education and Curriculum and a BA in Middle School/Junior High School Education, with a minor in math from the University of Northern Iowa.

 

Donna strives for excellence in Education, where the focus is on academic achievement and driven by data.
