Our
Story
Collaborating for Outstanding Readiness at New Mexico State University (CORE-NMSU) was founded in 2012 by two passionate Mexican immigrant educators who envisioned a more just and equitable learning environment for all students. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by multilingual and underrepresented populations in New Mexico, we are dedicated to amplifying their voices and ensuring they receive the educational support they deserve.

CORE-NMSU has since evolved into a collaborative hub for educators, providing professional development, instructional coaching, and tiered interventions that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across the state. Our team consists of experienced educators, instructional coaches, and interventionists who are committed to fostering an inclusive educational landscape.
As we continue to grow and adapt, our mission remains clear: to support educators and students alike in achieving excellence and equity in education. Together, we are building a brighter future for New Mexico's diverse student population.
