JoDee Lanari
JoDee Lanari is a Reading and Math Specialist with CORE. She has been an educator for 18 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Master’s in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies from the University of New Mexico. She obtained an Educational Administrator’s Licensure through Eastern New Mexico University. She is pursuing her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction at New Mexico State University.
She is highly trained in PLCs, the high-reliability school model, and school improvement through the Marzano Institute. JoDee has spent the last several years of her career working with teachers and support staff on structured literacy, with a focus on explicit instruction in grades K-3. She is Orton-Gilligham and CORE Train the Trainer certified. She has been on leadership teams with extensive work in unpacking Common Core State Standards and creating standards-based grading scales. JoDee was part of a team that piloted the MLSS (formerly known as SAT) process in her previous district. She is on the board for the Reading League New Mexico Chapter. She is a member of The National Association of Elementary School Principals and Kappa Delta Pi.
Ms. Lanari found a particular interest in teacher development and adult learning through this work. She is a lifelong learner and passionate about collaborating with teachers to improve through this work, Ms. Lanari found a particular interest in teacher development and adult learning for all New Mexico students. ​

JoDee is based in Los Lunas, New Mexico (20 miles south of Albuquerque), where she was born and raised. She is proud to be a 15th Generation New Mexican. She grew up around her family's business; buying and selling beef cattle. She enjoys going on road trips with her husband and two daughters visiting historical sites and museums.
