Sheila Lang

 My name is Sheila Lang. I was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Growing up I rode horses and played soccer. I have 3 sons who I am so very proud of. My oldest son Ty, flies for the National Guard full time. He is married to Caiti, who is a middle school science teacher. They have a precious son, Desmond. They are expecting again this January. My middle son, Zane is also in the military. He is stationed in Colorado. He is married to Denise. They have my oldest grandson, Rhett. My youngest Trey, manages a winery in Napa Valley. He often gets to host famous athletes and celebrities. 

 

I recently retired from Las Cruces Public Schools. I taught for 27 years. Most of my years teaching were in Fourth grade. I also taught second, third and fifth grade. During my teaching career I also coached soccer at Mayfield High School.

I love my gig at CORE. It keeps me balanced and still in the educational world. I enjoy working with others to help prepare our youth as they will be our leaders one day.

On my down time I enjoy hanging out with my grandchildren and playing Pickle ball.
